DŌ Cookie Dough Confections, NYC

If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past month, you have heard about DŌ Cookie Dough Confections! DŌ Cookie Dough Confections has been the newest food craze that people have been going over crazy over. If you have heard one thing, it is the crazy lines that wrap around the block across the street from the shop. I got the chance to go to DŌ Cookie Dough Confections on Saturday, March 11 in the evening and I got really lucky.

People have waited on line for these crazy cookie dough desserts for as long as four hours. The day I went, it was 30 degrees out and the line was only 30 minutes long! I recommend to go during unique times such as when the weather is bad (rain, snow, cold, etc.). I think I just got lucky that the line wasn’t so long.

When you finally get in the store, you are allowed four samples of the many flavors that they have. I tried the cake batter and salty and sweet before I placed my order.

I got a DIY Cookie sandwich which was huge! The cookies are cake batter flavored and the dough in the center was the original chocolate chip. The cake batter cookies and the cookie dough tasted pretty good but it was a little much.

My Thoughts:

Overall, if you can get there where the wait time is bearable, I would recommend going. For one, I got great pictures for Instagram which is always a plus. If you are someone who likes to test out the new trends I would highly recommend going to check it out! The cookie dough tasted pretty good but too much made me feel a little sick. Just getting to try the samples was great! With the left over cookie dough, I am going to try to bake the dough and see how it turns out!

  • Definitely very pretty! Was it just too sweet? I must be in the 1% because I don’t like eating cookie dough and I don’t understand the obsession either

    • I would say if you do not like eating cookie dough, you probably wouldn’t like it. Just having a little was enough for me.
