Day 2 was a pretty successful day considering I hit almost all of the spots that I had pinned on my map of Japan. Also, because I finished the day with over 25,000 steps.
Today we hit 3 areas: Harajuku, Shibuya, and Shinjuku.
First, we stopped at Meiji Shrine and walked around there for an hour or so. Then, we headed to Takeshita Street which was right next to the shrine. Takeshita Street was the place I was most excited to go to leading up to this entire trip and it was everything I had imagined. The giant cotton candy at Totte Candy Factory was AMAZING besides the fact that it was so crowded that there was barely any room to hold it! There’s even a sign on the stairs saying no stopping and no taking pictures on the stairs. Besides the food, I stopped in about a dozen different random shops. My favorite was the cosmetic stores and Spinns.
